Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and report changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Administer prescribed medication and remind clients to take their medication on schedule.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their quality of life.
- Document daily activities and patient progress accurately in care logs.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) certification and/or CNA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical instructions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours.
