Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications and ensure they are taken correctly.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding based on dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and report changes in client health status to the nursing team.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or personal care preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- CPR/First Aid: Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
