Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and light exercises as prescribed by the patient's physician.
- Monitor and record patient health status, including vital signs and changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who have dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer medication and assist with medical equipment under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Active state license or certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in home care, geriatric care, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence.
