Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable individual who is passionate about senior care and community health. The ideal candidate will be patient, observant, and eager to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake as directed by the RN.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Prepare meals according to prescribed dietary guidelines and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in the client's condition immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required for entry-level with willingness to train.
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
