Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and medical observations
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures and maintain patient safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following infection control standards
- Support patient emotional wellbeing through compassionate interaction
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team huddles
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift/move patients safely (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
