Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe client environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor client vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders under professional guidance
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required – we provide comprehensive training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and TB screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Basic computer skills for documentation
