Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, weight, and general condition.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as assigned.
- Administer medication reminders and document adherence accurately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Report any changes in patient condition or safety concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
