Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce isolation.
- Health Monitoring: Track vital signs, medication schedules, and report any changes in condition to the nursing team immediately.
- Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as needed to ensure a safe environment.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings, ensuring safe travel.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely notes on care provided using our digital health platform.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or private duty caregiving preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods; must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency for documentation purposes.
