Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist patients with eating if needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and changing bed linens.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure proper adherence to care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients with mobility.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
