Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding patients who require support.
- Provide companionship and engage patients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and changing linens.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to and from bed or wheelchair.
- Remind patients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Current valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
