Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs while monitoring food intake
- Administer prescribed medications and track vital signs accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client wellbeing
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and client progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain cohesive care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or HHA certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification and current TB test
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Reliable transportation with valid CA driver's license
- Clear background check and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Compassionate demeanor with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
