Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise routines.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medication as directed and track intake.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
