As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation based on patient needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and provide transportation assistance.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Document daily care activities and services provided accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
