Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
- Assist with front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DALECC or DANB)
- NC radiology license or willingness to obtain
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Basic knowledge of dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
