Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes
- Administer medication reminders (per protocol)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license and insured vehicle
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 6 months caregiving experience
- Ability to pass background check
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
