Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record client health status, including vital signs and changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of a nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
