Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe living environment
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Administer medication under proper supervision and training
Qualifications
- Current California HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Compassionate demeanor with genuine care for vulnerable populations
