Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping tasks and grocery shopping
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Report any changes in client condition to the care coordinator
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Active District of Home Care Aide certification (DHCA)
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
