Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Offer companionship and emotional support to isolated individuals
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year home health experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
