Job Summary:
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care and assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their dignity and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in physical or emotional health.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accurately document daily care logs and report any concerns or incidents to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current Indiana State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine, caring personality with a patient and respectful attitude.
