As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential personal care and companionship, allowing our clients to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or community outings.
- Administer medication reminders and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to improve the patient's mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care services provided.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and health assessment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
