Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environments
- Monitor equipment functionality and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless surgical workflows
- Document procedural details and maintain accurate equipment inventory
- Train junior technicians on advanced surgical techniques and protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3+ years of experience
- Experience in orthopedic, neurosurgical, or cardiac specialty procedures
- BLS/CPR certification and current state license
- Proficiency in advanced sterilization techniques (EO, hydrogen peroxide plasma)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent experience
