Responsibilities
- Provide essential personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to clients in their homes.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
- Monitor and document changes in a client's physical or emotional condition, reporting any concerns immediately to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the quality of life for our seniors and patients.
- Assist with medication reminders and light errands as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or State-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and families.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
