Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant surgery and orthodontic treatments
- Execute digital radiography and advanced imaging techniques
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintain precise dental charting using Eaglesoft software
- Train junior assistants on clinical procedures
- Coordinate patient flow across multiple operatories
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 3+ years experience in specialty dental practice
- Advanced certification in radiography and nitrous oxide
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (DEXIS, Sirona)
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Experience with dental insurance processing
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
