Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and document client health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medication and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life.
- Report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
