Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any changes in health condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Document daily care activities and report any concerns to the nursing supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties effectively.
