Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Engage clients in meaningful companionship and cognitive activities
- Maintain detailed care documentation and medication schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
