Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary requirementsAdminister medications and monitor vital signs per care plan
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Engage in meaningful companionship and cognitive stimulation activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with family members
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and agency protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience working with clients with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
