Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's health condition to the supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
