Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment by following infection control protocols.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Arizona CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
