Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfer of patients using proper techniques
- Administer medications and treatments under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Nevada CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills with compassionate approach to patient care
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
