Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support rehabilitation activities under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and family members
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with geriatric population
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
