Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support mobility and transfer residents safely using proper techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident environments
- Report concerns to licensed nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Illinois CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Must pass background check and health screening
