Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle administrative duties
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care protocols
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (CA State Board)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
