Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suctioning, and four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs with proficiency in digital imaging
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling
- Document clinical procedures accurately in patient charts
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Washington State
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and dental software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
