Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and scheduling coordination
- Update digital patient records with precision and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active RDA certification or DANB certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Local Bakersfield residency required for immediate start
