Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage office supplies efficiently
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical workspace
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Valid Wisconsin radiography license or ability to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
