Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments (including sterilization and instrument passing)
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting
- Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Provide chairside support for complex restorative/cosmetic procedures
- Manage inventory and sterilization of dental equipment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
