Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Process and label specimens according to strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EHR systems
- Ensure all equipment is sterilized and laboratory areas comply with OSHA standards
- Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Collaborate with nursing and laboratory teams for seamless patient workflow
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in specimen processing and laboratory information systems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Valid Colorado driver's license (if required for mobile services)
