Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Verify patient identity and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and specimen documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient flow
- Perform quality control procedures and equipment maintenance

Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year recent phlebotomy experience in clinical setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment

- Valid North Carolina driver's license
