Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons with instrument handling and equipment maintenance
- Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs and equipment functionality during procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies and inventory
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and OR protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Current BLS certification
