Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Manage surgical equipment and inventory with precision
- Document procedural details accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
- Flexibility to work various shifts including on-call
