Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in assigned specialty unit (ICU, ER, Telemetry, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington or compact state
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in specialty area
- BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required (specialty-specific certs may be needed)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
