Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in emergency setting
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plansMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Oversee nursing assistants and ancillary staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to critical incidents per hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
