Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on medical urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear communication to patients and families about treatment protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and identify changes in condition
- Assist in emergency response situations including trauma and cardiac events
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage assessment skills with critical thinking abilities
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
