Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the comprehensive technical roadmap for the 'Project 2026' initiative, aligning engineering milestones with business objectives.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a high-performing team of architects and engineers in the research and development of advanced AI, quantum computing, and edge integration technologies.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures capable of supporting high-volume enterprise operations in the 2026 landscape.
- Innovation Management: Identify emerging technologies and trends to ensure Nexus Future Labs remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, sales, and operations to translate complex technical requirements into business value.
- Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous coding standards and review processes to ensure the highest level of software delivery and stability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or technical project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and distributed systems.
- Futurism: Demonstrated ability to anticipate technological shifts and integrate them into long-term strategic planning (specific experience with AI/ML integration is a plus).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams through complex technical challenges and agile transformations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
