Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorations
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and CBCT imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Train junior assistants on practice-specific workflows and equipment
- Oversee inventory management of dental supplies and materials
- Coordinate patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Assist in digital charting using Eaglesoft practice management software
Qualifications
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license required
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Certification in dental radiography (DANB/RHS) and CPR
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience training dental assistants preferred
