Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on best practices
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs
- Assist with digital impressions and CAD/CAM technology
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials efficiently
- Document patient care accurately in practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software preferred
- CPR/BLS certification current
