Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Comprehensive companionship and emotional support services
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with family members
- Follow care plans and safety protocols to ensure client wellbeing
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English/Spanish preferred
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers
