Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assistance including crown/bridge prep, implant placements, and complex restorative procedures
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT, intraoral) and CAD/CAM workflows
- Train and mentor junior assistants on clinical protocols and infection control
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and ensure seamless treatment coordination
- Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance documentation
- Assist in practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft) for scheduling and inventory
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant Radiology Certification (DAEF)
- Minimum 3 years experience in general/cosmetic dentistry
- Advanced certification in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR/BLS
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proven track record in infection control and OSHA compliance
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining precision
